About Elsie Ephemerals

A watercolor gift gallery & muse studio.

created to revive connection

Elsie Ephemerals is a watercolor gift gallery & muse studio created to gently revive the lost art of connection.

Inspired by my grandmother's Victorian Tea Room, we bring people together through beautiful creative experiences that invite us to slow down, make something with our hands, share a table, and cultivate meaningful connection.

The table we came from

My grandmother's tea room wasn't really about the tea.

As a little girl, I would study the gleaming teacups my grandmother had on display. She hosted many gatherings and afternoon teas, and I can still hear her say, “Pick out your favorite. Sit down and have a treat.” After 40 years of nursing and raising her family, my grandmother gave herself to what she loved — painting, sewing, quilting, and most of all, gathering people around a table. Her tea room was more than a room; it was hospitality, beauty, conversation, friendship, and tradition. I’m not recreating her tea room — I’m carrying its purpose into a new generation.

Loneliness has become a quiet health crisis, and so much of modern social life is built around screens, noise, or passive entertainment. Elsie Ephemerals is built around a shared table, with creativity as the vessel that makes connection easier. Through art, flowers, tea, and beautiful creative experiences, I invite people to slow down, make something with their hands, share a table, and leave feeling a little more connected than when they arrived.

Create something beautiful. Share a table.

Something made for you

Watercolor prints & commissions.

Some pieces are made for a wall. Some are made for a person. If you have a place, a memory, or someone you love in mind, I take on a small number of commissioned watercolors each season — painted from your reference, your story, your moment. Gallery prints are always available, signed and ready to send.
